On April 6, 2025, the Porcelain Connects exhibition was ceremoniously opened at the International Ceramics Museum Weiden. Until June 8, 2025, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a fascinating world of design, history, and contemporary table culture – impressively showcased through the latest collections of the two renowned Weiden porcelain manufacturers, Seltmann Weiden and Bauscher.
Spread over two floors, the exhibition reveals the diversity and vitality of porcelain as a design element, everyday object, and cultural treasure. Artfully staged table settings, interactive displays, and inspiring arrangements make the exhibition a feast for all the senses. The message is clear: porcelain brings people together – at the dining table, at celebrations, in everyday life, and on special occasions.
At its core, the exhibition highlights porcelain as a unifying element between people, eras, and cultures. Historical references meet contemporary design; tradition merges with innovation – creating a striking reflection of porcelain artistry from Weiden.
A visit is a must for anyone passionate about table culture, design, regional identity, and creative craftsmanship. The exhibition can be viewed during the regular opening hours of the International Ceramics Museum.
